susan's musings:

oh those crop circles…and love in the Heart Chakra

Well, the trip is coming to a close. Our first Planetary Breath workshop. It feels like it was a success. The skies were smiling on us up until the last minute. Actually, the night before we left we saw a startling light across the dark horizon – almost like an aurora borealis. Bill stopped the car and we all poured out onto the country road and marveled at the site. So moved were we that we began singing in the middle of the road. Not really spiritual songs – more like R&B and musicals! We were just so happy.(About the weather…it did rain once – the last night we were there after we wre snugly back in the B&B. The rain lasted about a half-hour and then we were treated to THREE rainbows. What a message!)

On our last day – Monday – the group decided to do a few different things. Jessie and Penny spent most of the day in Bath while Mary Kay, Sarah, Kim, Ellen and I went back to Avebury. Bill suggested we could visit another crop circle in the area and we jumped at the chance.

The last crop circle we visited was a pentacle, crescent and cross – very beautiful and precisely designed. I, with my new found expertise in crop circle-ology, at first felt it to be different from the others we visited. It had a different vibration and energy and the wheat even had a different look to it. After sitting and laying in it for a while, though, it came to me that a different group had designed this circle. We had been in fractals and a lovely flower design previously, but this one had a more accessible, specific message – three religions co-existing. So what came to me is that is was designed to convey a message – not just joy and beauty and mystery – as the other ones did.

So, you may ask – who am I referring to as the designers? Well, yes – I do believe they come from a place outside or our galaxy, delivered as a message of peace, love, beauty, and even fun and play. I feel they are created in a quick flash of light, which flattens the wheat to create these unbelievably beautiful designs. The wheat looks like it’s been pressed down and it forms a kind of soft carpet to walk on. It flows or swirls in a clock-wise or counter-clock-wise direction depending on the design. It feels so comfortable to sit or lay on the wheat. It’s cushioning and supportive and almost instantly upon sitting down I felt like I was entering a trance-like state.

The circles live on (not just in the wheat I brought home!). I feel certain they are created to remind us to have fun, enjoy life, play in the fields and appreciate all the beauty around us. Negativity does not exist in a crop circle. There is only love and gratitude ¦at least in this pilgrim’s humble opinion.

I purposefully did not watch any DVDs or read much about the crop circles before experiencing one myself. I wanted to come to my own conclusions and I have – although I’m wide open to more information as it organically unfolds! Writing about the crop circles which are now a few thousand miles away from me, I can completely recall that calm that came over me as I walked down the tractor lines and got closer to the circle. What a wonderful experience. I hope you all will get to feel this in your lifetime.

We returned yesterday (Tuesday). As we collected our luggage at BWI, we seemed kind of euphoric and excited at our discoveries. We discovered so much about ourselves, our heart chakra, the planetary heart chakra, and each other. A diverse group of people – aged 26 to 50-something, from very different backgrounds – came together and laughed and played and learned and loved.

Next update – the Throat Chakra – Egypt, in March 2008.
